Create your unique garment with upcycling, embroidery and appliqué. A weekend at beautiful Capellagården when you get the opportunity to develop your own creativity. Each of the participants gets the opportunity to develop their own ideas. The days alternate with textile crafts and short lectures/picture shows. The focus is on creative reuse and upcycling. The course leader is Nina Sandström costume designer and crafts supervisor.
Course times:
Friday April 26, 18.00–21.00
Arrival, collection and start-up.
Dinner (19.00).
Saturday April 27, 10 a.m.–4 p.m
Review and own work.
Coffee, lunch and dinner.
Sunday April 28, 10 a.m.–2 p.m
Own work as well as shared review and cleaning.

Award:
The price for the course including lunch, dinners and coffee is SEK 3300 incl. VAT. Please advise if there are any allergies to consider. You need to arrange your own accommodation. Registration:
We apply continuous admission. When a course has enough applicants to fill course and reserve places, we close the possibility to apply for the course. The selection for the course is based on your motivation in the application and the desire to have a spread in the group. We will provide feedback on an ongoing basis. That is, the time it takes to receive notification can vary. Notification is sent via email. Upon admission, information is given about payment and confirmation of course place. In case of non-payment, we offer the course place to the next person in line. You who apply must be 18 years old. If you need to withdraw your offer due to obstacles or illness, a refund will be made with 50% of the course fee.
Material
Course participants bring garments they wish to upcycle and/or decorate. Embroidery yarns, beads and fabrics for applications are available for purchase at cost price, of course you can also bring your own material.
About the course leader:
Course leader is Nina Sandström. Nina is educated at Konstfack, she has been working for many years as a costume designer in theatre, opera, dance and film. Nina is also a trained crafts supervisor and creates with a focus on sustainable costumes and objects. Read more: www.ninasandstrom.se
