Cutting woodturning*
Course leader: Åke Landström
Welcome to learn more about the historical technique of cutting woodturning! Although the technology is considered to be at least 3,500 years old, the basis remains the same today; by rotating and machining with razor-sharp turning tools, we can create smooth and round shapes. We turn both fresh and dry wood. All course participants get access to their own lathe with associated tool set. During the course, you get to try tool sharpening and turning Åke's specialty – bowls in fresh wood.
