We offer practical gardening knowledge as the basis of our training as well as all the theory you need. A large part of the teaching takes place outdoors in Capellagården's garden and plantations. We also make study visits to gardens, cultural environments and farms. At Capellagården there is a responsible horticulture teacher, departmental teacher, and Capellagården's gardener, nursery staff as supervisors and guest teachers and lecturers also participate in the training. As the training is located at Capellagården, you also have the opportunity to gain an insight into the other craft training courses at the school. Together with the courses Furniture Carpentry, Textiles, Ceramics and Building Care, they form an exciting meeting place where projects and ideas about cooperation are born. For over 30 years, Capellagården has run horticultural training courses and here there is a large network of contacts and experience to take advantage of.
