Pattern with nature

Part of Capellagården's summer course program is aimed at children who want to take a creative course together with an adult security person. A security person can be a parent, mother/grandparent or other important adult in the child's life.

The course is aimed at both children and adults. The child's process is in focus and the adult participates in the course on the child's terms. The courses run over two days from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with common breaks for coffee and lunch. Lunch, light refreshments and materials are included in the course fee. What we create, we get to take home with us, of course. Below you can take part in the various courses, read more about the course content and the recommended age for each course.

You register yourself and the child via the form. We have rolling admissions and apply the principle on a first-come, first-served basis. Each course has room for 10 children and 10 adults. Accommodation at Capellagården cannot be booked for these courses.

Pattern with nature. Short course for children and adult security personnel, 2-3 July.

Course fee: SEK 2,600 for a child and an adult. Recommended age of the child is 10 to 16 years. In case of cancellation due to obstacles or illness, a refund is made with 50% of the course fee.

The course is aimed at children and young people who want to take a creative course together with an adult security person. Together we test different techniques and materials to create patterns and prints.

Based on nature's colors and shapes, we investigate different ways and techniques to create compositions and patterns. During the course we will experiment a lot. We will test and discover how we can create motifs on fabric and paper with the help of nature. We will test photographic development processes, ecoprint, sunprint and other fun ways to create prints.
