I went to Capellagården's textile line from 2019-2021. A total of 2 years.

My time at Capellagården has been very important to me.

I have made friends, future colleagues and experienced a different culture than my own. I got many good memories, which I will take with me further in life.

My time at Capellagåden has been essential for me. Before I started at Capellagården, I had neither technical nor practical knowledge of the textile material, but through the school's unique facilities and its open and learning environment among fellow students and teachers, my professional knowledge and passion grew. Here I became particularly interested in weaving and plant dyeing. For me, my time at Capellagården has been decisive for my future path, not only artistically but also as a person.

While I was at Capellagården, I applied to the textile department at Kunsthøjskolen i Oslo (KHiO) and got in. I am now in my 3rd and last year at the school's bachelor's degree and have started my graduation project. My goal is then to apply to KHiO's 2-year master's program. My wish for the future is to start my own workshop, where I can continue my career as a textile artist.

Capellagården is a very special place that I want everyone with creative dreams to be able to experience. Immerse yourself. Use the workshops and the unique knowledge both teachers and students have. Enjoy the time. Have cozy work evenings with your friends in the workshops - that's the best. And remember to go out into the beautiful Swedish island nature.
