Capellagården is looking for

Employees for the summer season 2025

Capellagården is a school for crafts and creative work. We run five full-time courses during autumn and spring as well as a number of wonderful summer courses. Capellagården is also one of Öland's major tourist destinations. The destination is most intense during the summer and our visitors can then enjoy a good meal in the garden cafe, visit the craft shop, garden shop, nursery and exhibitions. Workshops are offered for both children and adults and, not least, our beautiful garden and our plantations are open to young and old alike.

The school was founded by Carl and Siv Malmsten in 1960, and their philosophy of "putting hand and spirit into creative collaboration" still lives on today.

Right now we are looking for staff who want to be involved in creating the Capellagården visitor destination the summer of 2025. Together with around 30 colleagues, you are helping to make your mark on our visitors' fine experience of the place and thus helping to develop an important cultural meeting place on Öland. Our garden shop and nursery opens at Easter. The craft shop with exhibitions opens at Öland's spires and from midsummer the garden cafe opens and the entire destination is then open every day of the week. We round off after the Harvest Festival and then end the year with Christmas at Capella.
